Nearly 1.5 years passed since the first build attempt.
So my friend and I were working on this independent project (not related to
NetBSD) and at this point in time, we both were on our separate time-outs. While
I was working with implementing some proof of concept examples for the
application that we both were building, he was taking a walk in the mountains
before going to take classes for a semester in a University (part-time). This is
when he asked me if I would be interested in helping him out in the project he
is working on for NetBSD.
Since I had nothing better to do other than play online games and browse 9gag in
my free time, I thought why not and so we ended up back in building system, not
to mention the 36 hours I took for building the system last time. I was
wondering if I should switch to a more POSIX-y environment since I mostly sit
around in a Windows environment, this is when my friend mentioned you can cross
compile most of NetBSD code even from Windows if you use something like Cygwin
or Interix. This was certainly an interesting approach for me, so I started to
download the necessary stuff to run a build.
